Dr. Ruiz leverages her leadership experiences to support partners in their work and customizes to the needs of the individuals, the school and/or the organization. Blanca offers the following supports:

Training

Blanca uses her training space to serve as a facilitator of learning. Blanca works with teams and individuals to build a scope and sequence of workshops. Participants build content knowledge, engage in individual, small group, and large group reflection and dialogue. Participants then apply their learning to a tactical task.

Coaching

Blanca uses a strengths-based approach while coaching individuals. During this partnership, she works with individuals to gain continued perspective on what it means to be critical conscious and lead for equity. Together they develop both immediate and long-term goals for the school. Blanca works with leaders to reflect on data and evaluate follow-up from the analysis. Blanca coordinates school visits with leaders to observe classrooms and leaders in action.

Strategic Planning

Blanca works with individuals and teams to ensure that there is mission and vision alignment anchoring in racially equitable practices. Blanca utilizes change management frameworks to drive school and organizational transformation. Blanca works with clients to gather various forms of data to assess the current climate before strategically planning.
